EFIMED provides the possibility to young Mediterranean researchers to visit during 2 to 4 weeks another Mediterranean forest research institution. The aim is to foster collaboration and learn a new technique, use methods and tools not available in their own institution

Mediterranean Forest Research Agenda
Nowadays a draft of the MFRA is under consultation. The National Support Groups (NSG) established within the FTP are discusing the draft of the MFRA in order to provide their comments and inputs. In countries with no NSGs, EFIMED has established Focal Points to organise the consultation process.

EFIMED representation in COFO
The Head of EFIMED, Dr. Marc Palahí, will attend the coming COFO World Forest week organized by FAO in Rome (16-20 of March), to present the EFIMED activities and discuss joint initiatives in the context of the FAO Silva Mediterranea Committee. One of the main issues will be the discussion of the MFRA.
