New: EFI Winter and Summer Doctoral School!

EFI’s Winter and Summer School model of graduate education aims at creating collaborative research networks on topics of high relevance for forests and environment at the European scale. Engaging doctoral students is central to supporting EFI’s mission to strengthen and mobilise European forest research and expertise to address policy-relevant needs.

FAGUS 2010 - A Successful Symposium

FAGUS 2010 “Is there Future for beech – Changes, Impacts and Answers“ was organised on 27–29 October 2010 in Varaždin, Croatia and Zala County, Hungary. The event was jointly organized by EFI Associate Members the Croatian Forest Research Institute and the Hungarian Forest Research Institute.
